Blogs are more and more a part of today’s society then ever. But who are the people behind these blogs? Sometimes they direct to a social network site where you might get a glimp of the person behind the blog. But it stays digital. Blocter will get in touch with the people behind the blogs.
Why do they keep a blog and for whom? Blocter will try to answer these questions with short video interviews.
Blocter started in February 2009 by Jorrit Spoelstra as a final exams project at the Audio Visual arts department of the Willem De Kooning Academy. After researching film on the web in 2008 he started researching blogs, the reason why people blog and who they are. This blog is his thesis and his major final exams project. A series of short, especially for the web created, documentaries / interviews on blogs and the people who run these blogs.
