Typeradio kinda started as a joke by Love Liza, Donald Beekman and Underware. Trying to put something that’s only visible on a platform that is totally not visible. Doing radio interviews in the form of podcasts with graphic and typo designers from all around the globe. Not about the tiny little minor details in the new created font but they talk about the person behind the design. What colour does he/she likes, what are their influence and first of all: Are they religious.

Rotterdam Fixed Gear started as a platform to create a comunity. Most blogs create a comunity. But this time it’s different. Stay Gold, the main man behind the blog, was riding a fixed gear bike and saw others riding around town. But nobody knew eachother. So to get the folks on fixies riding together he created the blog. Which became on of Hollands leading fixed gear blogs. Now the crew is about 20/30 man strong an meet up weekly. Friday Night Rides, trips around the country and race alley cats
Beside the blog he just started a shop where he sells all your needs for a fixed gear bike.

Next Nature started by Koert van Mensvoort as a research blog on the topic of the changing technology which is becoming a nature to us. Nowadays it’s way more than a few people who collect their stories on their research. They do shows, release books, magazines and many more.
Koert even lectures Next Nature at the Technical University in Eindhoven.

We met Koert in the dunes of Bloemendaal, the Netherlands. Where we went to see a cellphone mast disguised as a tree and after that went for a walk and ended up between a cattle of Scottish Highlanders

Both artists themselves and early birds in the world of internet. You might know Jeroen from one of Hollands first blogs Alt 0169.

We met them in their workspaces and had a talk about their work, the blog and the events they host like Tendbeheer Presenteert and Rotterdam VHS Festival.

Marjolijn Kamphuis was one of the first female bloggers on Dutch Cowboys, which is one of the first Dutch internet tech-blogs. When she realized a lot of female writers have same interest but only wrote on Twitter, she started Dutch Cowgirls. A blog written by female writers only, but intended for both male and female readers. Writing about gadgets, movies, trends, technology and (social)media with a female-approach, she gives the blog a completely different feel than all the other tech-blogs.

We met Marjolijn at MTV networks in Amsterdam where she works as a project manager digital media. Afterwards, we went to visit the Mobile Monday Event where we got updated on all the new developments in the world of mobile phones.
